With a diverse background, Dr. Fred Ray Lybrand Jr. is known for his unique ability to make the complex simple. Whether it's his self-described ADHD or what he humorously calls ADOS (Attention Deficit ‘Oh, Squirrel’), his varied expertise enables him to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life and solve problems across multiple industries. Born and raised in Alabama, Dr. Lybrand followed his own path, moving away from politics (his father was a trial lawyer and state senator) to become a pastor, educator, systems specialist, COO, business consultant, and the author of nine books. Dr. Lybrand is known for his clear communication and careful wordsmithing, which helps individuals and organizations find solutions that truly work. Whether the topic is theology, productivity, leadership, or writing, his career spans more than four decades of tackling tough questions and providing insights in memorable ways. Dr. Lybrand’s professional journey includes serving as a Senior Pastor for over 24 years and co-founding TrimTab Solutions / GR8 Solutions Group, an Energy Industry consulting firm. His client list includes the United States Air Force, Valero, Chick-fil-A, and Marathon Oil, among others.

​He also created The Writing Course, a curriculum that helps young writers develop their skills by focusing on language instincts rather than formal grammar rules. His latest educational offerings include 12 soft-skill courses designed for independent learners. As a father of five and now grandfather to 11, Fred and his wife Jody successfully homeschooled all their children from birth through college. His passion for education extends beyond his family, as he has served on the boards of a Classical Model Private School and the International Christian Leadership Alliance. Dr. Lybrand is also certified as an Organizational Consultant by Robert Fritz, Inc., and he was recognized with the “Best of the Best Honoree Award” by the American Society of Safety Engineers.
